How wrong this must be...this is a position where the school teacher is reprimanding the school pupil by telling him that the only anser is the school teacher's!

Unfortunately Pakistan does not believe this to be the case and it has ear-marked itself to free its reliance on imported oil within 20 years. Ambitious? Yes! Possible? Yes! How? Read on!

There is real evidence to suggest that Pakistan has agreed to develop a new policy to manufacture its own indigenous renewable energies and fuels. In the first it has indicated that the attraction of solar P-V hot rocks wind tidal and hydro-electric is very much on its mind, but it also realises that the nuclear energy option is also around. In the liquid fuels for transport it is known that serious discussions have been held in closed rooms with a major purveyor to manufacture renewable liquid biofuels from generic ligno-cellulose which in 20 years will replace all the demands for diesel and gasoline. Interesting times are thus ahead. It also has indicated that it will use the same route to make fuel for its air and sea transport needs. Interesting times again.

So how will this happen? Certainly not with the ridiculous systesms using genetically modified organisms to translate ligno-cellulose to these or by developing specialised culltures of biomade organisms but by the traditional tried and tested routes developed during the 19th and 20th centuries. The availability of raw materials is key to this and the fullest avoidance of food crops is seen as the only realistic route.

It is understood that a decision at the highest level of Government has already selected the proposed company in this.

Watch this space.Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13473787337897643065noreply@blogger.com
